SHURE SM86 capacitive vocal microphone

The SM86 is a solid condenser microphone with cardioid characteristics and an extended upper band. It has been designed to compensate for the reproduction of the main vocals and to cope with the difficult conditions of the tour.

WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF THE SM86?

The SM86 is a condenser microphone with studio sound quality and cardioid directionality characteristics that helps to effectively isolate the main sound source from unwanted ambient noise. This makes it an excellent model for using stage monitors and personal in-car monitoring. It has extended characteristics in the high frequency range of 15 Hz – 18 kHz and the ability to work with a maximum sound pressure level of up to 124 dB. The built-in three-point anti-shake element minimizes interference from microphone operation, and the pop filter reduces wind noise and breathing.
